There are many different materials available for FDM printers, ranging from highly flexible TPU to fiber-reinforced materials. Printer Settings

Choosing the right settings for your print ensure the desired quality of your prints. 

Layer Height

This determines the thickness of each printed layer. A smaller layer height results in finer detail and smoother surfaces but increases print time and cost. Common layer heights range from 0.06 mm for high quality prints to 0.28 mm for drafts or prototypes.

Infill

This controls the amount of internal material used in a print. Higher infill densities increase strength and durability but use more material and take longer to print. Lower densities reduce material use and print time but can make the print less sturdy.
